Lightbulb Automatic to Manual?

I was curious if anything knew about switching transmissions.
I have a 1991 3000gt automatic and was hoping to put
in a 5spd manual transmission.

Anyone out there done this or know it's possible or not?

Re: Automatic to Manual?

Its very possible. I think Technical Automan added something to the FAQ about it. Take note that if you get a tranny from a 93 or newer car you are going to need 93+ axles too.

Yep, i've done it. I think I covered it pretty well in the FAQ, but if there's anything that's not in there that you wanted to know just ask.

Thanks for your help

I will hopefully be working on mine over winter break.
$1200 shouldn't be too hard to come up with
