uses a little oil 89,000 miles worry?

anything I can do to help it?, doesn't seem to be leaking, must be burnin right? pretty sure the guy said it didn't use oil, go figure
my mechanical abilita is limited, I don't plan on any rebuilding unless I get some help from a friend or something, any additives that might help this problem but not cause problems of there own, it's also the cold season here
runs fine and feels like it has the advertised 55 hp or so

how much oil is it using? might try a additive called "engine restore", used it in a tired nissan engine and it seemed to work ok

had the same problem with my geo started using oil at about 70k was drinking a quart ever 400-500 then at 106,000 bang number 2 cylinder was gone in processof putting a jdm motor in now $425

Pretty close to the same dreadful scenario I went through.

Ran pretty good for awhile and started using a quart ever 300 miles. Then my mileage dropped 5mpg and then...and then.....continued next week....er thread.

..Oh, heck! I can't wait.....she BLEW!

Installed a jdm and now it runs better than it ever did./!

Just keep a close eye on it. Run a compression check first thing.

so I check compression, and then what, if they are not close then my motor is on it's way to hell already, crap, just got the car a month ago or so, sonofa, how do I save this engine before it goes, looking for the easiest solution, will I get a couple years out of this one if I take care of it or will I need a new engine
