Question How many Ex-Police Impala Owners are out there? (9C1/9C3)

Just curious how many of them are around so far, where they came from and where you are. Perhaps even getting a meet of ex-police car owners?

Me >

2000 Impala 9C3, Michigan, Patrol car used in southern Michigan (In a odd DNR sort of dark green)

http://kmfdr.net/kmfdr/dth/

All pictures obviously marked Impalaxx.jpg is my beaut.

I would just like to tell you......you suck, I want a police package impala, all the lights and flashers and "cop" shit plugs right into those instead of having to wire them in yourself......you suck.

Re: How many Ex-Police Impala Owners are out there? (9C1/9C3)

Havn't bothered plugging any stuff in yet I am no wiring expert, but I am bound to do so eventually. Anyone know where I might find some Spotlights?, the car HAD them on each side, but they had removed them, wire connectors are still in place everywhere, just pulled them...

I love the reactions I get while driving around also

Talking

I pick mine up today. I bought a 2001 9C1. I wanted the 9C1 because of all the heavy duty packages. I needed a strong reliable car I can drive everyday so I can put less miles and stress on my other car. I only want to drive my other car for a maximum of four months a year. I have a 1995 Camaro Z28 convertible in PERFECT condition. Thats how I want to keep it.

I hear that =D, how much did all those little goodies cost you? Minus center caps. I have the holes and whatnot for all those items, just lack the items themselves.

I envy your luck in getting that color. Green is a good enough color for now... (Paint will need redone eventually, starting to come off plastic area's)

The Black wheels themselves are not hard to locate, its the centercaps that you need. Take a base Impala's wheels minus hubcaps, clean them up and you have your black steel rims. The Centercaps are what are difficult to find, and i've seen them on Ebay or you can order them direct from a Chevy dealer I believe.

Yeah, Ebay is good for some of that, never have found Attena's or the Pushbar though... I'd also like the backseat cage just for the final touch
