Rocker arm jump stoppers = little thingies which keep your rocker arms from jumping out of their carriers at high RPM (and fucking your shit up, REAL BAD). A big problem with the SR20....

ERr, no. Whoops. Heh.
Do an oil change, see if that makes a difference. Also, engines just get noisy with age. /shrug

KA24de and SR20det have different valvetrain styles.....
your ticking could be one of a dozen things... don't limit yourself to spending all your time on the rocker arms, check on everything that moves in the head first, get a FSM for a sr20det equipped car!!! ALSO how high have you revved the engine? many people think SR's are this god almighty revving machine, but no matter what the case is over revving ANY engine will cause damage. |

i shift at 6000 RPM, (max hp in my motor is @ 6G) and i just did an oil change...
i'm going to remove the head cover and see if anything is loose....
