Hi-Low Rpm's?

Hey guys,
I tried to search this forum for my question but did not find a specific answer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
1993 metro lsi convertible 5speed 95000 miles.
As I'm slowing down at a stop sign or red light just as I am almost stopped my rmps go up and down(engine revs) about 3 or 4 times before leveling off. It only does this when the car is warmed up. This is the best way I can describe the problem. Any suggestions?
Thank you

Also, check and see if your engine has an ISC solenoid. It's a common problem with the dohc 1.3's, but i'm not sure if the 3cyl was equipped with one.
