Okay, im having a a problem with my truck that i assume is my transmission. After i changed the tranny fluid and the filter there has been a dramatic change in my accelleration, in a bad way. i also noticed that when i am driving the truck seems to be stuck in a gear, it wont shift when it is in overdrive. i have a 4L60E transmission and i was wondering if i need to get a new tranny or if it is something simple. also the tranny slips in reverse. to me it sounds like its done for. any help appreciated. Daylen

won't aamco do a free diagnostic? i don't know why it would get worse when you change the fluid and filter.... unless you did it wrong? did you add enough fluid? too much?

Re: Boggy Accelleration
All transmission fluid level needs to be checked when the trans is hot and either in park or neutral. Being a GM it should be in park from what i remember but to be certain check on the dipstick , it will tell you
