1990 ranger shortbed tranny help

when I go into 2nd gear it revs up , then it stops. and is fine for other gears, is this serious? am I gonna need to get the tranny rebuilt? it already has been rebuilt but I'm not to great with cars, thanks brandon.

HEy man, sounds like 2nd gear is gone. Solution...rebuild tranny. Had same thing happen to me with 3rd gear. Really sucks too!

ah thanks alot man, im not sure if its even worth the rebuild, thats gonan be so expensive and it was rebuilt already ha, thanks for the info bandon
