carbon fiber hood for sale!

OK to heck with it, I cant figure out a way to make the hood work as log as I have the intake sitting right below the vent. If anyone is interested or anyone cares at all I will sell my new c-f hood. it fits any 94-99 3000GT. its in mint condition, only had it for 2 weeks. I did drill the holes for the pins in it though! the pins are Sparcos, they will fit any 3000GT since they are posted on the stock holes just above the light assembly.
the hood is offederd at GTP or Carbon-creations for $600.00 and $700.00 respectively.

I will not try to cheat anyone, if you have an open air filter or short ram, I highly recomend against this hood. if you have a fatory air box then I do recomend it or if your a badd ass with fabricating and can build a gutter for it then go for it.
Ill let it go for $400.00 and I WILL COVER THE SHIPPING COST.
I already took it off and am storing it so it wont get scratched or anything. here is what it looks like on my car.

Yeah I know it sucks but its either sell it or return to my stock air box and I do actually perfer the extra 1 hp from the intake then the hood.

HOOD + PINS and all mounting hardware for $400.00 + free shipping.

holla back if anyone is interested.

Re: carbon fiber hood for sale!

Awww, I seriously think you should keep it and just seal the vents that are causing problems.

wish I could Tad, but I'm only good with metal, cant work with fiberglass for crap. I asked some buddies to help me out and everyone backed down. Its a headache really, I took it off and put the stock one back on and I am not missing it. I really rather sell it and let someone who can appreciate it enjoy it more.

Re: carbon fiber hood for sale!

Damn man, if I had money, I'd give you $600 for it, but I'm close to broke...sorry to hear all the trouble it's caused you...that pisses me off, just reading it. Have you tried posting on 3si...I know other guys there have that exact same hood...maybe they have figured something out that we havn't thought off?

oh good idea, i'll post it on 3si. maybe someone there will want it.
the money is not an issue, i mean yeah it sucks to have to pay 600.00 plus 120.00 for shipping and wait an extra month for the dam hood pins, only to have to sell it! but hey sometimes you gotta cut your losses and know when to quit. no but I give up, just looking at it pisses me off, why didnt I buy another design? why didnt I get the oem one? why the hell didnt I spend the money on fixing up that anoying lifter tick? ..........oh well.
