EACV gone bad?
I cleaned my EACV with a good bath of carb cleaner but after looking at my helms manual, the thing is only supposed to control air right? Well, the two lines that go into it, I recall unplugging one of them and a liquid came out of it, almost like anti-freeze cause of the smell. Is this normal or do i have things mixed around?

Re: EACV gone bad?
it does control air,
when you remove the eacv theres a screen on the bottom of it, Ive started it while removed, air pulls heavy through that screen, the lines going to the eacv do have antifreeze in them, so thats not a problem, you can test it with an ohm meter, I think its supposed to read 8 to 15 ohms,

Re: EACV gone bad?
Those coolant lines are there to keep the throttle body warm during cooler temps to prevent iceing.
