uhhh yeah 140....pooped out 93 was just referring to the stock specs of an ls which is 140...so u dont need to correct him with your "at the wheels" shit cuz nobody refers to that when they talk about hp

so a type r has 195 hp at the flywheel....is that like 152.945865368 hp at the wheels?

actually if you look back on page one what pooped out quoted:

You can use a b16, gsr, or (I think) type r head. Assuming the ITR head will fit (I think it will), it should flow the best, but it will be expensive. The GSR head flows a little bit better than the b16, but it's a lot more expensive and more rare, so I'd just go with the b16. With a basic untuned ls/vtec with the stock ls internals, you should put down 140-150 whp. Of course, as long as you're taking the motor apart, and if you're going NA, you can put higher compression pistons in it (gsr or ITR) and better cams.

and then what he said:

hey spaceman a stock ls has about 140hp stock!

you'd know why kevin wrote what he did.

good job kevin on bringing back an old thread. the original guy doesn't even come here anymore. its been two months since he posted. and almost a month since the last post. check the last post date before replying. and around here if we say "hp" we mean at the crank and "whp" at the wheels. so in your first quote you had "140hp" watch what you quote.

you're an idiot

everybody talks about how much hp you get to the wheels more than what you have at the flywheel. What you get to the wheels is whats important

Re: I just bought an Integra LS, and have thousands of questions!

ok tony montana from the panama

pooped out was refering to the flywheel hp which is 140
kevin corrected him cuz he thought pooped out was refering to the wheel hp (its just a misunderstanding, he's probably correct about the 115 at the wheel though)
everything is worked out and this thread is dead so would u do all of us a big favor and shut the fuck up mr. i wanna be an italian mobster

Re: I just bought an Integra LS, and have thousands of questions!

im not trying to jump on eithers side, but I posted it earlier and maybe it got overlooked.

spaceman spiff made a post and included this phrase in there.

"With a basic untuned ls/vtec with the stock ls internals, you should put down 140-150 whp."

then pooped out 93 replied to that with quote

"hey spaceman a stock ls has about 140hp stock!"

spaceman clearly said 140WHP out of LSVTEC and then pooped out tells him its already got 140 stock. so I come to the conclusion he was referring to WHP just like spaceman or why quote his post when referring to the power rating in the post and the specific member who posted
