Turbo Charged Soluna (Killer car)

hey guys....

one of my friends has a Toyota Soluna with a turbo charged engine... i guess the normal engine which comes to a soluna is a corolla 1.5L engine. he has turbo charged it(CT-20 Turbo).....

actually he wanted to know the standard minimum boost on the ct-20 turbo wastegate.

does anyone have an idea abt this? please keep me posted... man that car moves.... it was able beat a Honda Type R..... u should've witnessed it

thanks guys

Re: Turbo Charged Soluna (Killer car)

I'd be surprised that he can boost it at all, the 5A-FE has a 9.8:1 comp.... terrible to boost, I wonder what kind of gas he's using, 109 octane?

I put in a 5A in my car, the thing is pretty gutless.. good on gas though. If you have any pictures or more info, I'm sure there are lots of people here who would like to hear about it. See if you can find out if he did any internal mods (low comp pistons, bearing reinforcement, cooling). Good luck!
