Re: Clutch replace time

I dug around for an hour but couldn't find crap except that the 924 and 944 procedure/times are very simlar. I know, not very helpful. I'll see if I have an exploded diagram of the clutch system at least.

I did find this though. It was called a 924 shooting break (station wagon)

What year is the 924?

I would think maybe 1981-84?

If you confirm the year I'll check the re-re time in the morning.

Re: Clutch replace time

Thanks lads, what a ugly car?. its a 84, but i have ran out of time, i am doing the job today, and i wanted to know the time so i could tell the customer how much when i toe the car in, and its for another garage so they wont want to pay the right price for doing it so i wanted the step by step, so it will go smoothly. Ive never done one before on a 924, its no problem doing it but its better to have it to hand to make it that bit better. cheers lads

sorry, only just seen this thread. there's been a couple of people on the tipec forum that have just done this and they both said that they think it would be quicker and easier to take the engine out rather than dropping the transmission.
