Re: sad day in 3kgt history
Wait...typically when insurance totals a car...they take it...you can't part it out. I had the same plan on my girlfriend's old car...no such luck...they wont even let you take the donut out. Only aftermarket parts can be sold, and they can only be sold if you replace them with stock parts.

i know thats y my origanl post said that they weren't going to pay for it... i have the car in my garage and said screw insurance... cause i'm not sure if i'm gonna fix it up or part it out or sell it... cause the damage isn't that bad... the cop on the scene was the one who said it was totalled and that is what my insurance guy < friend of the family > also told me... so i am still in the deciding faze... if i can get more than what it would cost me to fix it then i am going to fix it.. if not then screw it i'll fix it and drive it..... its a shitty process of deciding what to do with ur totalled dream car... but someones gotta do it i guess

Re: sad day in 3kgt history
The insurance pays you for the totalled car. You then buy the car back from them for a small amount of money. Thats how its always worked around here
