Question Acceleration Problems

I'm the proud owner of a 1993 Ram 150 4x4. It's got a 5.2L Magnum V8 with an MPFI fuel injection system.

Recently, I had the fuel pump replaced. Shortly after this I experienced a sticky fuel injector that, when acting up, felt like I was driving down a washboard road. Fine and dandy, I fixed all of this. Now the damn thing has intermittent, poor acceleration. It occurs any time! I'll have good foot pressure on the gas pedal when all of the sudden it feels like I'm running out of gas. Shortly following this the truck bursts ahead with new-found acceleration and drives normal.

Looking at the MPFI schematic I don't know where to start. Please Help!

Re: Acceleration Problems

Maybe dirty injectors, rails, or possibly a fuel pump pressure problem. Could be electrical too.

Re: Acceleration Problems

if the egr is opening to soon , it will cause the same stumble. My 89 egr transducer was screwed up and made the egr open right away, it should not open at all until about 1500 or more rpm.
