air valve on TBI 89 metro?

I'm having very crappy performance when It reaches operating temps.
It runs just fine when it's cold. So basically I'm tryin to eliminate the possible causes. I've checked the TPS and it's a little off so I'll try and adjust that.
Now according to Hanes manual theres an air valve somewhere on the throttle body. If the car doesn't high idle at cold start then that could be the problem. Well it doesn't high idle at first/cold start so I want to check that but I can't find it.
Anyone know where this things at? If I'm looking from the front and down on the throttle body is it on the front,left,right,back of the TBI?

idle solenoid is on real of engine with 2 larger vacuum hoses going to it. one hose goes to base on throttle body, other end goes to bottom of air cleaner, also has a 2 wire plug with a blue end connected to it
