Ecu/ Boost Upgrade????

How Else Would My Friend Know If His Z32tt Has An Ecu Upgrade. I Know That The Stock Boost Gauge Is Not Accurate And He Dont Have An After Market Gauge.

Best way to tell is to open the sucker up and remove all questions about it.

Just check the ECU, its under a wood panel on the passenger side footwell. Any type of aftermarket ECU will most likely have an ID sticker on the outside. If not then you could pull the ECU out of the mounting hardware and open it up. Under the secondary board on the primary board in the back left corner will be a socketed chip rather than a stock chip-solder-to-the-board.
