Check there entire system for leaks and install some good headers and down pipe. When you get to the injection kit don't use just plain water unless your out of water/alky. Water/alky is about 40% more efficent in cooling than plain water. If you don't like mixing it, you can use plain old car window washer fluid. Works great and every gas station has it. You can run some real wild boosts with a 50/50 mix, and if you use grain alky, can drink it at party's. Don't try drinking the windshield cleaner, it can cause a heart problem, like stop beating.

Re: Turbo

You could rebuild your turbo if it's old or warn.

Re: Turbo

Well I dont think you can afford some headers for a TT... Kind of up there in price range.

Do this:

Buy a set out of a junk yard, order the gaskets, new hardware, etc etc. From Nissan or www.courtesyparts.com

Before you start, some tools you will need:

-A good torque wrench
-Good set of sockets
-Access to a shop with a beadblaster
-Dremel
-Polisher (if you want)
-Wide, skinny peice of strong metal

Take the turbos apart. With the intake turbine, it is aluminum... Very easy to bend. So be carefull when seperating the wheel housing from the back plate. You can easily bend the back plate up, completely ruining a good turbo. Thats why you'll need that wide, skinny (and when I say skinny, I mean as skinny as you can find) peice of metal. Your going to want to seperate the peices evenly, kind of like the patern you would put a wheel on with. Diagonal. This is much easier if you file the end of this peice of metal into a point.

With the exhaust turbine, the bolt holding the wheel in the turbine is VERY oddly shaped. As it is with most turbos. You'll need to talk to Nissan about getting this socket.

Then beadblast them up (just go to a shop and nicely ask to use their beadblaster). Then go in with a dremel, and get busy. Just make sure you dont hone in the turbine wheel area, that will actually lower your boost.

Then if you so desire, polish the interior peices. Make sure your connector shaft is perfectly balenced, with little or no play room in it.

Re-assemble the turbos, with new gaskets and hardware. And you've got some kick ass new 0 mile turbos.

For fairly cheap.

I would suggest getting an intake and downpipe after this, just to get more flow going in, and out.

You dont have to do anything crazy like JWT Dual-Pop chargers, but just something to get more air flow going.

Good luck dude
