temp/ compass sensor error reading CCd

the temp compass gauge reads CCd at all times. When we try to reset the gauge initially gives an accurate compass direction and temp. then immediately goes to the CCd reading have tried to reset several times. the owners manual doesn't give any indication as to what CCd means.
