will and crx seats fit in my cr-x?

i thought my 91 civic hb seats would fit in my 88 crx hf i just bought. but that's a big no no i guess. but will any seats from any crx fit in my crx with oput and drilling ??? i want them to bolt right in

The 88-89 seats are diff from 90-91 seats... Something about the seatbelt... But I think the mounts are all the same, as far as from a CRX to a CRX. Civic seats won't fit into the CRX without modification. So for the less hassle just stick with CRX seats.

yup 88-89 and 90-91 have the same seats but the seat belt is connected to the door instead of inside the car.

look and see if you can just swap the tracks, I'v heard of people doing that.

I wish you could, cause I tried and they won't swap. That's why my crx seats are now my entertainment seats for my playstation and xbox.

if your car is a canadian one the 88-91 ones fit no problem, only you yanks got the belts in the doors... what was honda thinking ?

You can't either, I've tryed that too. The joint where the seat bends and connects the top part with the bottom part are different on crx and civic seats. The civic one goes right up the side of the seat while the crx one is about a quarter of the way in the middle of the seat. Even taking all the cushions and swapping won't work either cause the bottom pans are different too of the both. The crx is wider and the civic is smaller. No worky. Sorry. If you find a way though, I would be your next best friend.
