Ok all, I have a 92 accord LX and I must say, I like it. I had a sol previously so I was used to a "sporty" car. My accord isnt a sports car by any means (4 door, 4 speed, 4th gen, 4 cylinder) but I was amazed at what it could do being what it is. I got in free at the track (1/8) and ran a 10.5 WOW! lol Bone Stock was faster than friends IHE sunfire and IHE neon! :-) (base models)
Anyhoo, my point is, I read somewhere that there is a sports mode button....hu?? is this on the 92? I cant find any and I'm no dummy....I just dont think mine has one..:-/ Another thing: does my ecu "learn" the way I drive?? I bought it from an old lady and it liked to shift early. Well, now that ive had it 2 weeks, it seems that it knows when im runnin a little faster and need a little more gear. I dont know if ive learned the car or if its learned me.... any clue?!

I don't think the '92 Accords have a sports mode - only the 90's and 91's. I have a '90 Accord EX with sports mode. The button is located on the gear shifter - so check there, maybe you have it.

Re: Sports mode??
The sports mode doesn't do anything realy, just raises the shift point a few rpm's. Just wastes gas. I'm not sure if the ecu picks up on driving conditions without being reset. Take the negative baterry terminal off for 2 mins, and then everything will learn according to how you drive.
