Blueprint request: Ferrari 288 GTO

This must be a bit unusual, but I know many model manuals come with a nice 'blueprint' of the car: Top, side, front and rear view.
I'd like to model the 288 GTO in 3D, but I can't find anything useful on the web.
Can anyone help me out? I'd be thankfull forever.

y'know..... you'd be surprised what you'd find on the net.
a while ago i downloaded a free 3ds max file of a 288gto.
it was an older format and didn't show up properly on max 6.
um, that is, if that's what you meant by '3D'

It is.
But I'd like to create one myself, I won't use someone else's model.

Re: Blueprint request: Ferrari 288 GTO

but it would give you a good reference to making the skin surface, if you're doing it that way,
or modifying the mesh of a solid, if that's your method of choice.

incidentally, how are you making it?

I made a 3D model of a Benetton B194 in Maya a couple of years ago, but that was with trial and error. Lost all my files and renders in a HDD crash.

This time I'm going to use Zmodeler, my ultimate goal is to use the car in a game. Don't even know how that technique is called, but I'm going to use this tutorial:
http://www.etspe.ca/zmt/v2/

Btw, I do have a 1/24 scale model of the 288 GTO that'll be helpfull when modelling.

Re: Blueprint request: Ferrari 288 GTO

ahhhh, i get ya......

y'know, for a while i was tempted to try and make a full on model of my car.
engine, axles and all that.
i started on trying to get a decent body and failed miserably.......
half of my surfaces were drawn in the wrong direction and it would've taken too long to right everything.....

good luck!
