Exclamation Exhaust Systems Comparison

I'm looking to put a cat-back exhaust system on my '96 Honda Accord LX. But I'm still skeptical about it. I want a deep tone exhaust and at the same time it gains serious horsepowers. I don't want exhaust that screams. Please tell me what you think of these systems:

Tanabe Super Racing Medallion
RS*R GTII
Invidia

Please give me some ratings on these three exhaust systems, for its sound, fitment, looks, and overall and your opinion (it'd be helpful), thank you guys.

**Rating is 1-5**

Re: Exhaust Systems Comparison

Well first off, I just want to make one thing clear, an exhaust system is a good entry level modification that allows your engine to breathe better, therefore improving power and gas mileage...however, please do not think that you are getting 'serious' hp gains. Maybe 5-15, if you are lucky, with just a catback. So don't expect to be flying around...that aside...

I have no direct experience with any of these 3 exhausts, best I can say is go by what you think looks and sounds best...not hp gains, as the difference between them all will be negligible.

Hopefully, someone else here can point you towards some online sound clips.

Re: Exhaust Systems Comparison

my friend has a tanabe super medallion hyper ( think its hyper) with a dc sports ceramic header (4-2-1) in his 200 accord. sounds real good and has a deep groan to it. better than the setup he had which made his car sound like a lawn mower on steroids.

um, it's not about which is the best you know, it is all about what you like, what's your favorite and stuff. It is all depend on what brand you like, that's all.

Monzar

I think I've heard of Monzar Exhaust, is it Mozar or Monza or Monzar? As for Ebay, honestly, I really don't know, I never trusted Ebay, but my brothers and my friends, they got most of the stuff for cheap through Ebay system.

Personally I'd go with an RS-R Ex-Mag, or something else from RS-R. Their exhausts are super quiet, deep toned, and have proven to give gains from 10-20 HP. I'm not a spokesperson, but RS-R has just awesome exhausts.

5 for RS-R

They got the stuffs that they need. They were pretty happy about it. Ebay has been in the business for a long time, you know. I don't really trust online ordering, because there's chance that you would receive a wrong part, you know. I never trusted Ebay, well, that's just me.
