how to install Koni Yellows?
Um Ive seemed to have fucked myself pretty good. Right now my car is riding on Tokico Hp Series struts and springs but the struts are blown after only 2 months (go figure) and I found a set of four konis for a damn good price. Problem is my parents threw away my stocks shocks when they cleaned up the garage. I have read that you need the stock strut housing to install konis? Is there any way I can use the Tokicos strut housings for this or some other way I can get these to install?

Koni yellows for 92-00 civics are not a cut-a-strut design, I believe that the 94+ teg ones are also not a cut-a-strut design, so you should be fine their. However, I know on 92+ civics you need the brake-hose bracket off the stock shocks. The Tokicos have it welded on so it won't come off happily. Genrally, it pounds right off the stockies with ease. I don't know if you need that part for their teg shocks, though I assume you do.
If I were you, I'd give Koni a call and talk to someone in the tech deptartment. Koni North American www.koni-na.com 859-586-4100
