Head swaps

i want to put a soch vtec head on my d15a3 engine. i heard somewhere that a d16z6 head would but want to make sure before i go ahead an buy the parts need.and any wire changes necessary also would be great

talk to a guy in redpepperracing.com named "eldo" he modified a d16 head to fit his EW (d15) block, it's not running yet as it is a side project but it took little modification (one of the head bolt holes and an oil passage had to be elongated) the head he has is not vtec but it is the same design as the vtec model. he can point you in the right direction but wiring issues you will have are with the distributor and the vtec activation solenoid, normally run by the ecu

you arent going to want to swap any head onto that block, order a brown top JDM ZC, it will go fast
