whining noise on occasion with tacoma
I have a 96' tacoma, around 150k thus far. It started making this strange whining sound on occasion. It sounds almost like the steering pump, but high pitched. It goes away when it warms up. Sometimes the sound is accompanied by a sort of hissing sound. I know this sounds odd.Anyhow, I have a few thoughts. It could be a tension pulley or the power steering pump. any thoughts?
