305 and 350 parts compatiblity

are bolt ons for 305 and 350 interchangable, ive seen an old caprice that i might be interested in buying and in the mean time that i save for 350 i wouldnt want to buy anything thats going to go in the scrap in about a year , for example headers , carbs ?

there are a lot of parts that are swappable

get you a shop manual for chevy engines about 20 bux and get ya 1 for the caprice

the price of these manuals will more than pay for it self the 1st time ya use it

The bolt pattern on the blocks are exactly the same but on the heads, manifolds, and other extremities of the engine tend to change a little. If you lookin ta buy a 350, look for one with a 4-bolt main of you know your gonna be haulin ass a lot.
