Question supra motorsport or street?

I originally posted this in the motorsport section. I'm really siked on making this car, but there is one problem i decided to make it the motorsport version (toms castrol), but once i did the panel lines and the trim i'm getting different feelings. It will look badass in street. So i need everyones opinion, motorsport or street? Please help me solve my dilema! The other reason why i'm leaning towards street is i have no micro sol and set and i don't want to mess up the decals. Also i know the panel lines are a bit dark but i think it gives it more contrast.

Hmmm... I don't like those black panel lines very much, the car looks a bit like out of a comic. You should have taken a lighter color (middle grey or something) to wash the panellines with.

I'd say put some tuner decals on it.

Re: supra motorsport or street?

I say do the street version, but that's only because I don't go over to the motorsport section that much. It would look good as either version; if you did a street car you could add more "personal" touches, but if you did the Tom's Supra then you could try your hand at replicating as close as possible. It all depends on what you want out of a model.

Re: supra motorsport or street?

I think you should go for motorsport version, if you think about it, there are lots of people who do street, but motorsport is more uniqe, and you could really prove some skills if doing it motorsport style in my opinion.
If it weren't for this, I would choose street and show.

Drifter! The first time I glanced at your pics, the car looks like it came out of Auto Modellista. It looks koo that way IMO.

motorsport! The decals are not hard at all, just takes time I don't think you really need microsol either.

Re: supra motorsport or street?

well you have to take into consideration that you are posting in the 'street' forum where people will most undoubltely give you a biased opinion. pose the same question to our 'motorsport' counter-parts and see what the also say.

my 2 cents: keep it motorsport, the interior does not at all lend itself to a street legal racer....so unless you wanna swap the interior....
