99 silverado misfire

my 99 silverado started runing rough then the service light came on i went auto zone to read code it said misfire and o2 sensor i changed my plugs still have the rough runing can the o2 sensor cause it to run rough?or should i be looking somewhere else thanks for any help

I would say yes it could be the O2 sensor...... they controll the ammount of fuel the engine gets , if they are bad and reading that the ammount of fuel in the exhaust is too rich it could be leaning out your engine even though it is running fine

What engine do you have? Has any other engine maintenance been done lately? Have you replaced air and fuel filters?
