Supercharged Lesabre
Just a few points to think about.
Why have they never made a supercharged lesabre? they had the supercharged looking T-types, but no supercharger under the hood. I have wondered if it was possible to put a supercharger on a lesabre that didnt have one already, i would imagine so, but never checked into it. I would assume it can be done, however a mechanic told me that the supercharged and turbo versions of the 3800 had a slightly different camshaft so it could handle the extra power. i wouldnt want to put a supercharger on an old 3800 and then kill it by doing so. anyone have thoughts?? |

Re: Supercharged Lesabre
Uhhhh, to my knowledge, the only big difference in the turbo/supercharged motor is the piston rings are different, so they can handle the higher pressure, but that may only be on the 231 v6. The camshaft is steel, so it shouldn't have a problem with that.
