fm stereo not working

my 1996 sunfire stereo is not working. I recieve only am channels my fm are static. any ideas on what could be happening?

yo..., sounds like ur ant. came unplugged from the stereo... or somebody stole ur ant. from the outside of ur car...or u live in the middle of nowhere... is it a power ant... ???? or a reg. ant????

thanx for responding my ant is still on the car it was working fine.

Is it stock or aftermarket radio and have u checked the back of the radio yet??????
