2000 Grand Prix SE, 3.1L Extra Connector!

Hi Everyone,

I hope that someone here might be able to help me out. I recently did a new lower intake manifold gasket on my 2000 Grand Prix with 3.1L engine.

As I was putting everything back together, it turns out I have any extra electrical connector that doesn't hook up to anything. It is located back by the alternator, and in fact shares the same "branch" as the little connector that goes to the alternator. The connector only has two wires in it, one pink and one pink with a brown stripe.

I am wondering if anyone might know what this hooks to, or whether it is a connector that doesn't hook to anything at all. If anyone with the same engine can help me out, I would really appreciate it. I will compensate you for the time if possible!

Thanks!

Darren
