There was a survelliance camera in the parking lot of the pentagon that caught pictures of the airplane flying into the side of the building, never skidding across the ground. A close freind of mine also works in the Capitol One building on the other side of I-95 from the pentagon. He works on the upper floors and watched the 757 as it flew into the building...

Whats funny is that LESS aircraft wreckage was found at the Twin Towers site from TWO planes than at the Pentagon. Thats fact.

Or perhaps the same kind of dumbass that swallowed the Private Jessica Lynch story - that conveniently displaced all coverage of the battle of Bhagdad - which in turn caused enquiring minds to turn to the Al Jazeera English site that promptly crashed - shortly before the unfortunate bombing of the Bhagdad hotel in which most of the non-embedded journos were staying.

Or perhaps the same kind of dumbass that swallowed how Saddam had, and was able to deploy, WMD against the world at 40 minutes notice?

Or the same kind of dumbass who swallowed the crap about aluminium tubes and forged documents adding up to uranium purchased from Africa for enrichment in Iraq?

Or perhaps the same kind of dumbass that believes Iraq is somehow responsible for 9/11.

So what do you call this then? It's obviously not a conspiracy because you don't believe in them, do you? So if it's not a conspiracy, what is it? Could it be truth?

BTW, I heard a conspiracy theory that the troops never did have their tank barrels decorated with flowers from the grateful liberated. It sounds ludicrous but some actually believe all the flowers were instead used on the graves of the grateful dead.

I didn't say that, but I don't dismiss it out of hand either just because it's too disturbing to think about. It's called having an open mind.

So tell me gladhatter, how many of those false claims did you swallow?

I'll admit to swallowing the first two (babies and troop build-up) at the time they happened - when I was much younger and naive.

I'll also admit to swallowing the one I posted the link for (Kuwaiti oil fires) - right up until a few months ago.

these days i question just about everything and usually figure ill believe something in the middle.

i used to say you were a conspiracy theorist and laugh if you questioned stuff, these days there have been too many incidents proven to be lies to not question.
