2000 silverado p/u noise

I have a strange noise when I take off from a complete stop it is kind of a gurrgling sound which goes away when you are up to speed. It is only when I accelerate and not as noticable as from a dead stop runs the same and shifts the same HELP??

There are some little rubber washers in your heater hoses. Disconnect them from the firewall inside the engine compartment, after its cool, and pick the little rubber piece out w/a hook or screwdriver or something like that..

Check your Anti-freeze level.
I had the same noise, and it turned out to be (not) enough coolent in the reservoir.

Had the same problem and the dealer replaced the heater core and it resolved the problem.
