I suggest looking for a Mustang. They're still reasonably priced, and trhere were so many made in the 60's that they are still available. If you want to go with muscle looks, get a fast back, or a convertible for cruizin. Check Hemming's or Autotrader.

Well if you like those cars, definitely check out the lincoln continentals. Here is a '65, it came factory with suicide doors:

Re: american cars

Try ebay under their collector cars page. Lots of photos so that you can determine what you like. For practical reasons, I'd think about GM or Ford.

I know how you feel, my favorite are big cars from 1960 to about 1974.

My favorites:

1960 Ford Fastback Coupe (Starliner?)
1961 Lincoln Continental
1962 Olds Dynamic 88
1962 Thunderbird
1964 Lincoln Continental (wheelbase extended)
1965 Buick Wildcat
1966 Olds Toronado
1966 Dodge Monaco/Polara
1966 Pontiac Catalina
1966 Chrysler 300
1967 Buick Riviera
1968 Olds Holiday Fastback
1969 Chev Impala
1970 Chrysler 300/Newport
1970 Plymouth Fury
1971 Ford Thunderbird
1973 Ford Thunderbird

Best of luck.
