Re: exterior lights or park lights wont go off
this is just a guess, it might be the switch at the top of the turn signal lever, sometimes they can get worn out. It looks really hard to get at, but I would call an olds dealer and ask if that's what it could be.

Re: exterior lights or park lights wont go off
I know this looks like a really simple fix and you might already know this, but do you have the twilight sentenial option turned on? The twilight sentenial option is what makes your lights turn on at night. You don't turn the lights on with the switch anymore after that. But, you will notice also, that the rolling switch that turns it on, it turns a lot. If you just put it past the click where the lights go on when it is dark out, the lights will turn off when you turn the car off. But if that roller is turned all the way to where it stops, when you turn your car off, the lights will stay on for almost 5 minutes. But they will turn off automatically. It's actually a nice feature. Then if you need to walk inside and it is dark out, you can have your headlights pointing to wherever you are walking and they stay on so you can see your way. I can almost bet that is the problem and that isn't a problem at all. You just didn't know that it was a feature in the car. It kind of baffled me the first time I drove the car. I thought I was driving around without my lights on the first time I drove my car at night. I had to get out and look to see my lights were on (it wasn't completely dark out yet that day). And time of experimenting, I figured out the twilight sentenial thing. But there's nothing wrong with your car.
