Exclamation clicking noise and oil light

i recently get another Montero Sport, and i bought it with some issues, there's some engine clicking noise, and the oil light is turning on...it turns off when i accelerate..any ideas?? oil pump?

and please! how do i set the clock

Get a high-quality oil change done somewhere like Firestone, Tire Kingdom. They usually have a top-notch oil change package, get that and ask them to use high mileage oil if it is available. I had the same clicking/oil issue and it went away after that.

Oil light

Have a mechanic check the oil pressure of your engine. Sounds like a faulty oil pump. Ticking noise could be discharged hydraulic lash adjusters because of low oil pressure.

i guess this its a common problem in Mitsus, b/c i've heard a couple of cars (an Eclipse, and another Montero) that had exactly the same sound that i have...
