Unable to put into drive when cold(below 40 degrees)
97 Malibu won't shift out of park untill engine warms up for about 15 min. when temp. is below 40 deg.. Doesn't appear to be a problem with the switch on the brake peddle. Any Ideas where else to look? Are there relays involved?

Turned out to be a lock out solinode (spelling) under the console. Lubricated with silicon spray (shotgun approch) from under the dash and got fixed. Works fine now at even lower temps..
