A few Primera p11 Questions

Hey, I own a 1997 Primera 1.6 twin cam 16 valve... its seriously bog standard so I guess I'm a bit of a lamer round here I've just found this site and your rides have blown me away!!. So anyway, I'm paying the thing off for the next 3 years so until then the Major mods will have to wait.... What I do want to do is Get some 18's on it, a Decent Full Body kit and a touring car style spoiler...... plus probably just a K&N and some Clear repeaters etc.... When I have paid the thing off I'm looking to drop a either a GTI-R engine or a 200sx engine in it....I've heard that the 300 engine also fits.... twin turbo? is that right?.. anyway, Here are my questions, If anyone can answer them either here on by email to [email protected] I would be most greatful.. Thanks for your time.

1. I need a good body kit that fits straight on.. what should I get and where?

2. 17 or 18 inch RIMS....any arch mods needed?


3. does the GTI-R engine fit into a 1997 primera?

4. Where on earth can I get a touring car spoiler from? I cant find one anywhere!!!

5. What are good clear repeaters to get?

I live in Yorkshire so anywhere around there would be great.. Many Thanks people.... aint primera's great!!!

Keep reading most of the threads and you will pick up what info you will need.

Look at the F.A.Q

The body kit is really up to what you like and want. I'd say Stillen...but thats only because i have there body kit !!!

I'd go for 17's. I had 18's for a while and have now gone to 17's for a better ride. I just found them to be to hard on bumps etc with such tiny rubber. Also you would need to look at lowering it to give it a nice look.

1. lots of body kits from Japan, http://www.g20.net (look in External Mods), talk to Luke (G22DET) cause he can get them for you, but i warn you, they are quite expensive

2. id go with 17s like primeraman said, youll have more rubber and less rim, less harsher ride than 18s

3. yes the GTi-R can fit in your primera, oh and you were talking about the 200sx (240sx in US), that engine cant fit cause its RWD, but i think you were refering to the BlueBird (Altima in US) DET. its the same engine but is AWD, but can fit the primeras FWD tranny.

4. check online some, talk to Luke as i said, he could probably get it for you
