the metal kick plates ( i think thats what they call them) they are only available on the 2000 eclipse i think they were on some 2001, but im not sure most of 2001 i have seen did not have one. you can order it through mitsubishi dealer that would be the easiest way to about it

dude...i have them...cool...mine has them...and you guys dont...cool...hahahah...suckers...just kidding...hahaha...but yeah...it must just be a 2000-2001 thing...cuz i have a 2001 GS...when i get my car back...ill take a pic with my cell phone...and post it on here...so you guys can see what it looks like...for those of you who dont know what it does look like anyways...and i think i have what you guys are talking about...the metal kick plate thingy that says mitsubishi on it right? well anywho...ill just do it anyways...hehehe...

For the love of God, it's nothing special. Ive got a 00' GT 5 speed, and it has one. All it does is prevent your feet from scratching the paint when you get in and out of your car. No one ever sees it unless the door is open, and even then since my car is black you cant even tell its there cause its black plastic. I have seen ebay selling brushed aluminum ones for Lancer's, but not alot for G3 eclipses.

Are you guys talking about the bottom of the door where you sometimes hit your feet? That plastic thing that prevents you from scraping the paint?
Mine has one of those, its an 01. I didn't think there was anything special about it either. You can see mine when the door is open b/c my interior color is tan, paint is black. So it stands out when the door is open, but otherwise you never see it.
