K-n Filter

I Have A 2003 Alero, 2.2 I4. Does Anyone Know If There Is A K-n Airfilter. Ive Been On Their Website, And To Autozone And Advance Auto Parts And Havent Found One Yet. If K-n Dosent Make One, Then Who Does Based On The Same Setup Of The K-n(reusable/washable). Thank You

Re: K-n Filter

Have you tried the Fram AirHog? I know they make one for the 3.4. It is supposed to improve breathability and clean the air better than a regular filter. It is washable and reusable. It's good for 200K miles (says Fram).

Re: K-n Filter

You have just about any engine mod you can think of available for the 2.2L because that's what all the j-bodies have and there is a huge aftermarket for those cars. Anything that will fit on a j-body will fit on your motor with the exception of headers because the o2 sensor is in a different place.

Re: K-n Filter

Check out Aleromod.com, there's answers to just about anything you could ever want to know about the alero, here's a link to the K&N air filter, it's for a Grand Am, but GA's and Alero's have the same engine configurations. For the money you'd be better off getting a cold air intake from Alerospeed or American Performance of Colorado.

Re: K-n Filter

I put a K&N in mine and it really seemed to help! Odd but true but it runs alittle smoother now with it!

Re: K-n Filter

Did you put a K&N in with Cold Air Intake or just the filter with the stock setup?

Re: K-n Filter

You can take your filter to any store that caries the K&N filters and they can find a match that will make it the same size or close, I bought mine for only about forty bucks or so at NAPA here where I live it's local.
