98 GT Tach Wire???
Hi I'm connecting a remote car starter and I'm having trouble finding a suitable tach signal from the ecm to the coil pack. The Haynes manual wiring diagrams are complete garbage and I'm wondering if anyone else has ever found a suitable connection for this wire. By the way the manufacturer of the remote car starter is out to lunch on the color of the wire I'm looking for.
Thankx -L |

Never Mind, white from coil pack does the trick.

Re: 98 GT Tach Wire???
you can also go to an injector which has a stronger tach signal. If you look at the injector wires the will have one wire common to all of them and one wire that is different to all of them it is with few exceptions the UNCOMMON wire.
