1992 735il hard to start problem

Hi I'm New I come from Melbourne Australia.

Have a 735il 1992.

Suddenly developed a hard starting problem, instead of firing right away, would take quite a few cranks to start, then would not accellerate uinder load staright away.

Took it to BMW dealer, had it for 4 days, no resullt
Took it to BMW independent expert, thought it was crank angle sensor, turned out partially correct.
finally took it to a BOSCH agent with all the analysis gear, fount it to be the harmonic balancer has slipped by 1 degree thus threw the timing way out, replaced it and crank angle sensor. no more problems

took about 2 months in various shops to figure out.
hope this helps somebody else.
Anybody with similar experience?
