86 Van wagon Wiring diagram

I am having trouble finding a wiring glitch. Aternator is working fine *per test 12+ volts, all lights on dash came on. .. I believe I have a short.. how and where do I test?. I heard that there are test leads by the intake.. aircleaner.. that uses the "check engine light" . can anyone elaborate, The van will start... but the battery will soon be discharged.. I took out the alternator to have it tested. I checked the relay at the fuse panel... Oh.. I also need fuse slot indicator.. if anyone can help here .. I would appreciate it!

Re: 86 Van wagon Wiring diagram

We have some experts at www.toyotavanpeople.com that could help. My 84 is full of electrical glitches too. For some strange reason, when the alternator goes, ALL of the lights light up. I had my alternator rebuilt and my idiot lights flicker from time to time, but glad it's still keeping the battery charged, at least. It could be a fuse or a bad wire if your alternator tests good.
