Heater problem - where is the "blend box"

I have a 95 Aurora with a heater problem where in heat mode the passenger side blows hot air (just fine) and the driver side blows cold air. This situation is the same weather with the selector in vent (dash), heat (floor) or defrost (window) mode.

So I suspect the "blend box" as I have seen in the forum. Where is this located?

Thanks all in advance.....

Re: Heater problem - where is the "blend box"

there are 3 motors that operate when you move the knob to adjust the direction of the air you will find them when you remove the plastic cover above the drivers feet, the blower motor and other stuff is above the passengers feet when you remove that cover...news

Hey - its bfbfbf - Got this problem fixed and thanks to those who provided the right info.

The problem turned out to be this particular actuator motor is controlled by the TEMP buttons on the dash. This motor was the middle of the three (top, middle and lower). The top and lower motors worked ok.

The cost was ~120$, and about 30 mins with some new expletives due to the Houdini like contortions I had to go thru to get to the motor under the dash....

Thanks!
