Angry Great loss of boost

I have an gti 1.8t and the problems is that i dont have the boost that i once had. the car a month ago was in an accident i was hit in the side where the intercooler is located. now the cars back on the road but now i have a problem with the intercooler.

The intercooler was replaced but now it sounds more like a short ram intake.Its very loud and the boost is not there no more i have no clue as to what to do.. plz help

i would check the valves, and the turbo, intercooler pipes.

im pretty sure its your lower intercooler pipe (the one that runs from the turbo up pipe to the intercooler.
