Chevy Bel Air Toon Draft.

Here is a ruffy I freehanded as a draft for a 56 chevy Toon. It is not near done, I just thought I would post it since I had it lying around. Got my Camera to work. I know about the elipses. And the lack of rims. But I just wanted to find a stance for the car. Also, the bumper is a bit screwed and left side is too high. PS, I did major chicken scratch on the doors. all of these I am aware of. Also, it might be quite big. Stupid camera. Plus I didn't bother downsizing this one.

Re: Chevy Bel Air Toon Draft.

I would say proportions need work but it is a cartoon so I'll let it slip, the bumper could use work, I would say tilt the windshield to the right a little more, good work.

Re: Chevy Bel Air Toon Draft.

Thanx jeep. I was doing it when I was tired, so I figured, ahh, I'll fix the bumper some other time. And I haven't, yet...

PS< I like the windshield as it is, but I dunno...

Re: Chevy Bel Air Toon Draft.

not anymore...

first off you got some computer skills so crop the pics and make them a little smaller.

Many of my drawings started this way. Imagining a box may help you get it all lined up. I like the rounded feel, and the exaggerated stance. This drawing has potential. Give us more and I'm sure you'll get more (replies).

Re: Chevy Bel Air Toon Draft.

Pretty good so far. Like Jeep said the windshield doesn't look parellel to the front of the car. But as you said its only a draft, so you can easily improve all that.
