'83 V6 turns over, NO SPARK...

I have a 1983 V6 Mustang convertible. which ran fine when I got it. Last week, it was idling and suddenly stalled. It wouldn't start for a few hours, until it was cooled down. I started it again and it idled very low. Then, after it warmed up again it stalled. Now it will turn over, but won't start at all. I checked the fuel lines and it was getting lots of fuel, so I had someone take a look at it. After they tested it by taking out a spark plug and using a screw driver, they said there was no spark. I changed the ignition coil and checked all the wiring, and fixed any corroded wires i found. Also, the spark plugs are brand new. Any ideas at all? Thanks.

does it have points, duraspark, or TFI? sounds like a bad ignition controller to me. if it's points you'll have to take the dist apart. i dunno about duraspark. with TFI, you have ro replace the TFI module on the side of the dist.
