The Caravan Transmission - Got it Right?
Now that I have a 2001 GC, I have heard the horror stories concerning the transmissions. I have the 3.3. Were the transmissions redesigned to correct any problems and if so, when? What is the real world repsonse concerning their transmissions? I don't want to go through what I did when I had my Explorer - multiple transmissions.

Re: The Caravan Transmission - Got it Right?
I had a 94 with a 3.3 that went over 200,000 miles before needing a rebuild, but that is the rarity. The trans shop told me Chrysler minivans with OD trannys are the most common trannys that he sees, he does at least 3 a week.
