Maxima cutting out

I have a 95 maxima auto and i just replaced the stok intake for a cold airintake and as soon as i did the car ran fine i hooked up the mass air flow and air temp sensors and it ran perfectly for like an hour then it started cutting out badly when i would be stopped at a stop light to the point where i had to shift into neutral. And also when accelerating it feels like it wants to die (like when you let the clutch out too fast) Anyone know whats wrong also it didnt do it before i installed cold air intake i have checked all connections and they are secure if anyone knows how to fix this it would be much appreciated
