I just read a thread on building up this engine. Not really a good idea, i have come to find out. However I would still like to keep this enigine in and add a turbo has anyone done it, or does anyone know if it safe to do so with compression issues and what not.

Re: Has anybody turboed a d15b7
i had a friend turbo a d15. dont know what the last letters and number were at the end of his d15 tho. He was running about 6 or 8 lbs of boost on it. Like all turbo cars.... freakin fast. His car was running safe other than changing out his ECU to have a high rev limiter and better power band and ended up overreving and blowing the motor. He also ran too much boost and blew his head gasket another time. Smart fellow huh? nah but he learned his lesson.
